Scott Hamrick

Scott began his musical adventure in 1967, playing
the baritone in his 5th grade band.
This proved to be a bit cumbersome, dragging it back and forth
from home to school in order to
practice the required 15 minutes per day, so he promptly traded
in the baritone for a trumpet.
Playing a variety of brass instruments thru high school,
and enjoying positions in the Concert Band,
Stage Band, and Jazz Improvisation classes, he aquired an extensive
background in
the art of music composition and theory. A self taught guitarist,
has been playing Rock & Roll
since the early 70's.
Married Sandy in 1974, has three daughters (Scott hasn't
seen the inside of a bathroom
in 15 years), and currently resides in Prineville, Oregon. Commuting
to Portland regularly
to perform and rehearse with Freefall.
